Christmas and the Holy Night
Most people used to link Christmas to glacial frostiness and snow white landscapes. Fortunately nowadays, we can turn on our TV and watch the whole fracases sitting sheltered and warm by the fireside. And in times of climatic change, Santa Claus will have to wear swimming trunks on Christmas Eve anyway.
What does Father Christmas do when he’s not issuing presents? He’s just sitting around lazily and waiting for Christmas. You recognize his slothfulness as it makes him so awfully fat that he can’t be seen as an idol for kids anymore.

Here you see an overwiew of my cartoons about Christmas:
Sure, he’s active apart from the Christmas days, too. Previously, he presented children in the Netherlands and Spain, his main operating time is in January; in Russia he’s showing up a bit later than in North West Europe. In total, he has six to seven working days; a plum job for every employee. Unfortunately, this post can’t be found in the listing of open positions.
It’s easy to live with this job, no one would deny this fact while seeing the belly of our buddy Father Christmas. It’s not hard to imagine that his main activity off-hour consists of stuffing himself with oodles of food. His doctor scolds him steadily, but Father Christmas doesn’t care.
When visiting earth, he asks the children of course if they’ve behaved well, listened to mum, dad and doctor and didn’t eat more than what’s healthy.
Regarding Santa Claus’ girth, you can’t drive away the suspicion that he might engulf many candies. And he doesn’t even need to buy them - did naughty children ever get any gifts? Good old Santa Claus just needs to denounce as many children as necessary to assure his supply with goodies.
And what about thirst? Well, he doesn’t have to fear it as some gifts for adults can be found on his sleigh, too. Sometimes a bottle of wine is included, sometimes a phial of vodka. But as almost all adults forgot that they have the right to be presented by Santa Claus, too, the latter can keep the alcohol mostly for him. Well, if things are like this, good food and lazing around taste even better, don’t they?
